Well
I think I might just be the worst craft blogger in the world. I am NEVER consistent. I am juust always so busy. First I was planning my wedding (and being all crafty), I suppose I should post pictures of that sometime. Then I got married, and then I got to move into my new apartment, and now school starts on Monday. Things to do just never ends. So, someday I will get this blog REALLY up and running. (Yeah, Yeah that's what they all say).

NEW ideas
So once upon a time I had all these great ideas for a blog, and I wanted to sell everything I made, but now I think I am just going to have this blog featuring things I make for myself, my home, or anything else crafty (sometimes with tutorials, sometimes just to show off my crafty inventions :)
So I am seriously going to try this blogging thing again, and post more often than once a year :) Bear with me though because after all I am a student and I don't have all the time in the world.
PS: I am totally addicted to crafty blogs, so I guess me making this blog is just adding to the thousands already out there, but that's okay, its something I absolutely love.
If you read my blog, you will soon come to know that I get excited about new ideas and I run with them. I love almost anything crafty and DIY for low cost.
Current/recent projects in my life (that I will probably make more detailed posts of later):
: Making all my wedding flowers out of fabric, ribbon, and floral wire
: Inexpensive fun wall art
: planning my wedding
: trying hard to focus on school, but it is hard when you are engaged :)
So that's my brief overview of my "renovated blog" (its not exactly new, just the idea)
Lisa :)

Branching Out :)
A few weeks ago I was trying to figure out something to do with my scrap fabric that didn't involve a bag and I came up with this place mat and coasters set. It turned out really well, so tell me what you think of it.
The place mats are about 20 x 14 and the coasters are about 4x4
--I can make them in whatever color combination or pattern you want.
--I will typically make them in sets of 2 (2 place mats and 2 coasters), but I can make 3 or 4 or 5 or more to a set depending on what you want.
--I haven't decided on a price for the general place mat-coaster set ( and I was thinking of adding 2 fabric napkins into the mix) but the price will be between 14-25 (depending on difficulty of pattern wanted and fabrics used)
**By the way, these ones are not for sale, but I will gladly make other ones to sell

Messenger type bag
So here is a bag that I sewed for a friend, it took a while to coordinate everything the way I wanted, but it all worked out :)

Camera Pouch
I needed some sort of case to protect my camera, because my old camera got all beat up because I just threw it in the bottom of my bag every time I went out. This camera pouch that I made keeps my camera from getting banged up and scratched. It is made out of brown and green wool felt with some decorative stitching. It has a magnetic snap so that the device won't fall out. This would be perfect for any kind of electronics and I would be more than happy to make one. I could make them for cameras, phones, ipods, etc. I can even change it up a little and make a pencil case or a glasses case. Sorry the resolution is so bad, I don't have a very good picture of it available at the current moment. Email me if you want to know more about my new design. Thanks.
